mendokon hi there!

I'm trying to migrate "data.fs" from an old cynin server to a new one. But i can't get it to work.
I have read all the info here about the process of copy the "data.fs" and all that stuff.

I got a new server with a new cynin installation, and it works great until i copy de "data.fs" file from the old cynin server. Now i can't see the web interface from the new server.

i hope you can help me please!
some ideas!

pauls I've deleted the recycle bin. I've seen the thread that shows I'm not the first (phew), but haven't seen any guide to how I can put it back. Can any one tell me how? I looked at the ubify_recyclebin_workflow in Zope, which looked hopeful. Can I put a state ID to bring it back to life? I'm on 3.1.1. Would upgrading to 3.1.3 put it in the right place?

ybizeul How can I bulk change the state of an item in a workflow ?
I changed the default workflow so that content is visible by viewers by default, but now I want to migrate legacy content to the new state, is there an easy way ?

checho Products.CMFPlone:plone error creating a Plone Site, I'm using ArchLinux and have all dependencies installed, all seems too work but when I try to add a Plone Site id admin interface it throws me this error:

edith Four questions:
1. How can I delete an item i added (like the blogpost)?
2. Is it possible to have the description of for example a blog article appear in the overview on the frontpage?
3. Is het possible to show a picture of the user who added the item in the overview on the frontpage?
4. Is it possible to get a list in the right column of only the logged in users?
and one added question: why doesn't my question appear in the overview, while other questions do?

milajones Background? Hello Everyone,
I am new to Cyn.in and had a question about changing the background color and image. The layout is perfect, but changing a few superficial styles will help Cyn.in match the front end of the website we have developed. I have extensive knowledge of CSS, and am comfortable with jQuery/Themeroller - no issue there, but I can't seem to find where the styles applying to the background and/or body are located. I'm thinking maybe I am overlooking something?

domarques when I create an discussion, the portlet "recent item" shows [ ... ] instead of some text of the discussion. Is there a way to correct this directly by the site?

dblackard When I try to save a Bookmark I am told I do not have sufficient privileges as the Siteadmin. Any suggestions? I am able to make all other kinds of changes as a Siteadmin. Thanks for any help you can provide.

ashwanis Hi . I had installed cyin.in on vmware 4.0 using debian linux 5.0. But access site is very very slow. I had checked all browers ie. iE chrome and Firefox.. Same result site is opening very slow.

BruceND75 Questions regarding embedding flash. The documentation tab for Kupu states:

"Kupu has some support for embedding Flash objects using the ATFlashMovie content type, but requires some configuration. Other Flash content types may also work but have not been tested.

       1. Install ATFlashMovie.
       2. Got to the resource types tab of the configlet.
       3. Under the resource mediaobject add Flash Movie to the selection and save.
       4. In the action urls table at the bottom of the page, add a new entry for the type Flash Movie. The preview
           may be left blank or be the same as the 'normal' image. For 'normal image' you should enter
           string:${object_url}/download. Leave fieldname blank and in the 'type' field select 'Flash'."

Is this recommended for cyn.in? Are there other ways I should/could be embedding flash?

Also, is there any reason with cyn.in why I couldn't/shouldn't install and make useable the FCKEditor or TinyMCE Editor as an alternative to Kupu?
