Whenusing Plone, it is easy to install a third-party portlet showing up RSS/Atom content that gets refreshed (pulled) every x minutes where X is configurable. Is there any way to do this in Cyn.in. To me, the ability to aggregate content from external sources is vital for content-focused sites

I guess most spaces should be open and readonly to logged in users, so they can see it, but then how do they know who is the owner of the space, and how do they gain access?

"Kupu has some support for embedding Flash objects using the ATFlashMovie content type, but requires some configuration. Other Flash content types may also work but have not been tested.

       1. Install ATFlashMovie.
       2. Got to the resource types tab of the configlet.
       3. Under the resource mediaobject add Flash Movie to the selection and save.
       4. In the action urls table at the bottom of the page, add a new entry for the type Flash Movie. The preview
           may be left blank or be the same as the 'normal' image. For 'normal image' you should enter
           string:${object_url}/download. Leave fieldname blank and in the 'type' field select 'Flash'."

Is this recommended for cyn.in? Are there other ways I should/could be embedding flash?

Also, is there any reason with cyn.in why I couldn't/shouldn't install and make useable the FCKEditor or TinyMCE Editor as an alternative to Kupu?

This product provides a generic Plone form generator using fields, widgets and validators from Archetypes. Use it to build simple, one-of-a-kind, web forms that save or mail form input. To build a web form, create a form folder, then add form fields as contents. Individual fields can display and validate themselves for testing purposes. The form folder creates a form from all the contained field content objects. Final disposition of form input is handled via plug-in action products. Action adapters included with this release include a mailer, a save-data adapter that saves input in tab-separated format for later download, and a custom-script adapter that makes it possible to script simple actions without recourse to the Zope Management Interface. To make it easy to get started, newly created form folders are pre-populated to act as a simple e-mail response form.

Stuck during Cyn.in installation using ISO image on a Virtual Machine.

Hi, I'm installing Cyn.in using the Software Appliance provided by you to install Cyn.in from an ISO image, I tried to installed in VMWare as well as in VirtualBox and I always got stuck just in the last step after the "Configuring apt" screen (http://www.cynapse.com/[…]/finishing-installation); I always got stuck on this screen (http://twitpic.com/47hzf8) I have wait about 8 hours and nothing :( I followed the installation guide and nothing. I have tried to use NAT and Bridged network and nothing :'(

Does somebody have any idea about what am I doing wrong?
