Enabling Plone Shibboleth Authentication

This document contains instructions on how to integrate Zope with Shibboleth. The advantage of doing this is that Zope-based applications, such as the well known CMS plone,can be part of a federation wide Single-Sign On system. This in turn eases user administration and maintenance inside Zope and delegating such tasks to an Identity Provider. The instructions are aimed at a Debian (sid/unstable) Linux distributions but should be generic enough for any admin to apply it to their particular system. The basic steps are: a)Installing Zope and Apache b)Installing Shibboleth c)Integrating Shibboleth with Zope.
