Error installing grub boot loader, getting following error:
The installation of 'grub-pc' in /target/. failed
It is the first time that I am using Cyn.in and have downloaded the latest 3.1.1 iso version. During the installation I have chosen all the default settings except for changing the domain name and user details. Everything seems to be installing correctly until it gets to one of the last steps, installing the Grub boot loader.
From what I can gather when searching on the internet is that others have similar issues with new systems that use RAID controllers. However I don't think I have such a controller. I do have a SATA harddisk that may be the problem. Here are my hardware specs:
Intel Desktop Board D945GCLF2 with Integrated Intel Atom 330 Processor
2TB Harddisk (SATA)
2GB Memory
As of yet I've been unable to find any solution to this problem. I hope there is some way to set up the boot loader manually, as everything else seems to be installing fine.
If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it. I very much like to try out this software.

The Cyn.in v3.0.5 ISO CD for is now available for download. This is the 5th iteration of the CD, it will be the final one for this release, if all goes well. Please test and report any issues or problems.

This is for people who want to test with the new version on a new system. For updates to an existing installation, the debian packages have been built and automatic upgrades are being tested with them. They will be uploaded to the updates repository shortly. So you should hold on for the updates availability announcement in this discussion.
