Hmmm.... the upload files button does nothing when you have flash player 10 installed - Adobe has changed the Flash player file API and this has broken our flash upload functionality. Until we fix this you can downgrade your flash player to 9 and then this button will work. First uninstall (http://kb.adobe.com/[…]/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157) and then, download the archived installer (which is like 110+ mb and contains all archived flash player editions) and then install the 9 version. Note: Downgrading Flash player is not recommended - you should use the zip file import / export mechanism, outlined below.
Zip file import and export is available for files. This is in the "Contents" perspective, which is used for bulk management of items - you will find this link in the black bar below the application perspectives, and if you have Edit permissions on the Space / Main that you're viewing, the import and expore buttons will show up. This perspective includes Import and Export buttons which will let you selectively export file items or import file items from a zip file.
Do let us know if it worked out.
We are working on alternate file upload solutions, no doubt we will do something to improve this situation, soon.

Hi all,
I'm currently testing Cyn.in with the cyn.in desktop.
I have installed cyn.in desktop on a vista pc with a user with administrator rights. everything seems to be all right.
Now when I login with another user on the same PC. Cynin desktop will nog start. I see in task manager that it is running. but the gui will not be visible.
Reinstalling it with the second user does not have any results. still only the first user can see the desktop.
I have no idea at all what could be the problem.

As suggested elsewhere I downloaded Fusion demo for Mac OSX and tried to install it on my Osx server 10.4.11 but I got a message stating it could not run because it was not supported on the system.
Are you sure I need to get Fusion ? Is this the same application for an osx desktop as a server?
Am I missing something?
I would like to try getting cyn.in installed on my osx server

Question - is it possible to get RSS feeds for the blog or wiki? In the past I've subscribed to rss feeds off dokuwiki to see when a page is updated...very handy instead of logging in every day or three.
Overall, cool package - only thing that bugs me is the flash app on the front page, doesn't really provide alot of value to me as far as I can tell, wish I could just go straight to blog or wiki page...

I get an error when I access the All Items Advanced View. Has anyone seen this before? I have pasted the Traceback and error detail. This error also occurs when I create a new Advanced View.

Having noticed that the backup functionality is not available in the rpath appliance for the open source version of cyn.in I was wondering if anyone had any success at implementing a 3rd party backup tool. If so any ideas would be welcome as our use of cyn.in has grown greatly over the last few weeks.

Second, I read about the graphic Workflow capabilities of Cyn.in in the brochoure, but I cannot figure out where or how to use it. I mean, I hadn't seen any menu or option for Workflow within the application. It is something that I have to do to activate it? I went through the "product" and interfaces to try it out, but it seems (to me) that there is nothing in there to "activate" the Workflow (if that were the case).
anybody can help?
