Four questions:
1. How can I delete an item i added (like the blogpost)?
2. Is it possible to have the description of for example a blog article appear in the overview on the frontpage?
3. Is het possible to show a picture of the user who added the item in the overview on the frontpage?
4. Is it possible to get a list in the right column of only the logged in users?
and one added question: why doesn't my question appear in the overview, while other questions do?

ichitaka Is it possible to make use of synonym links between wiki pages. If i have a page called "x" i can link it simply by [[ x ]]. But if i want to link it by brackets with a different name, is there a way? For example [[ f(x) ]] pointing to [[ x ]]? I know, i can do this by linking it manually from the WYSIG editor. But how is it with multiple wiki links pointing to one location?

Hi there,

Hi there,
i've got a question. I'm not able to set access restrictions on all of my spaces.
I've tested that on a fresh installation of cynin but in my production environment i'm not able to do this any more.
In words i am not able to set or unset the permission "can view" on all of my users or groups in every space.
It says that the global policy is configured by the admin, but i am the admin! ;)
I cannot remember that i made specific changes on anything that could have caused that behavior.
So what is the best way to get that working again?
Because i want to set the permissions to specific space so that some users can only view some spaces and other ones can view all spaces.
Is it better to transfer all my data and users to the test environment, on which the permissions work or is it just one change in some config to get the access permissions back to work?
thanks for your help and kind regards
Tino

jgentes Why would new users *not* automatically be subscribed to receive email alerts when people post discussions/content? I'm trying to get users engaged, but it's difficult if I have to coach them on how to 'subscribe to the activity stream' in order to see what's going on. Isn't there some way to auto-subscribe new users? Why isn't this the default, then turn it off if it gets to be too much email?

I've already set up my Active Directory integration, now I need to know how I control access to various spaces using active directory groups? Suppose I want to do the following:
Set up a "space" called HR
Allow users from the HR group on my Active Directory domain to add/edit/remove all content types to manage sub-spaces within this space
All other users (those in the "staff" group in AD) can view and comment on these items, but they cannot edit the content.
Any ideas?
Let me know thanks!
