Clarification: I'm not sure how friendly Cyn.in is with Plone Products... is there a whitelist of ones that play well?

No, there isn't, currently. :(

Most "backend" products will probably work out of the box. Front-end products that modify UI, add new content types will probably not work. Search for previous threads on this topic and you'll get an idea of what I'm talking about.

Also, remember to install a product "out of the blue" into a production install. Always, always do this on a test /development system. Any plone product can potentially completely total your Cyn.in installation. I'm not saying it *will*, but be prepared for the unexpected. Run it on a dev box, ok? :)

Yes, good advice... I imagine there are only 4 or 5 products I might be interested in...

1. RSS Aggregator, RSS portlet (or perhaps a "Collections-like" portlet.
2. A "Location type" ... maybe showing Google Maps.
3. I like the sound of the "Plone Invite" product... or rather I'd like groups to be self-administering.
