Hmm... the interface will not "adapt", at least not yet.

But wouldn't you also be nesting your 100 spaces within each other, purely for your own needs of finding things easily?

It's an interesting question (to me) ... because as a University there are a few departments (these are just the academic ones http://www.york.ac.uk/np/deptindex.htm ) ... And people kind of expect to be able to share information with their team... but what is emerging in our early trials is that people want to create Spaces that BRIDGE DEPTs.. such as the Marketing Interest Group, which includes people from Alumni, External Relations, Web Team, CPD and others...

So there are two issues...
1. Does the UI adapt intelligently? Maybe it could show "Recently Visited Spaces" and "All Spaces"...
2. Should I be encouraging a completely different approach to the IA, once that encourages collaboration rather than re-inforces the status quo.
