System Requirements for cyn.in server

To install and start using cyn.in in your organization on your server behind your firewall, you will need the following:

Hardware requirements for Bare Metal cyn.in appliance:

Bare metal cyn.in appliance requires no operating system. The cyn.in appliance CD can be directly installed on the server machine. Following are the recommended requirements:

• Computer and Processor: Server Class multi core processor with speed of 2.4 gigahertz (GHz) or higher
• Memory: 2GB
• Hard Disk: 250GB
• Drive: CD ROM or DVD Drive
• Other: 100Mbps uplink port for accessing cyn.in

Hardware requirements for Virtual cyn.in appliance:

cyn.in can also be installed as a virtual appliance on any existing server class machine. Apart from the above server requirements following are the recommended system requirements:

• Operating System: Windows XP, Vista, Linux, MAC OS
• Software: Requires a runing installation of VMware Server
• VM Ware Image Memory: 1GB
• VM Ware Image Disk Space: 1GB of available hard disk

• Network Storage: NAS and SAN

System Requirements for cyn.in client

Applies to: cyn.in On-Premise Enterprise Edition, On-Demand SaaS Editions

cyn.in can be used easily with most of the browsers available. To ensure that you have complete access to all functionality, we recommend the following browsers:

• Firefox 3, Firefox 2, IE 7

Due to functionality difference between browsers, using other browsers might provide a variance in the user experience. The following browsers provide basic functionality such that users can read, write and perform administration tasks in cyn.in:

cyn.in Desktop Client Requirements

The cyn.in Desktop client comes bundled with the required software like AIR and can run smoothly on most of the operating systems. Following are the recommended requirements to run the client optimally:

• Computer and Processor: Single core processor with speed of 2.0 gigahertz (GHz) or higher
• Operating System: Windows XP, Vista, Linux (Beta), MAC OS
• Memory: 100MB
• Display Resolution: 1024 x 768 or higher
