- InfoCryptor implements a 448-bit, symmetric encryption algorithm to secure the storage of sensitive data.
- Multiple User accounts are maintained to manage information of various users using a single installation of InfoCryptor. There is no limit to the number of user accounts that can be created.
- Deletion of a user account is permitted only from within the account i.e. only the user who has access to the account can delete the account.
- Forgot Password feature helps in retrieving passwords only if the hint answer is entered. This feature can be optionally disabled in cases of greater security.
- To prevent brute force attempts to retrieve the password using this feature, only 10 attempts to guess the correct hint answer are permitted.

- Records from a password secured encrypted file can be seamlessly imported to the user account.
- The use of an efficient and extensive search algorithm is implemented to enable quick and precise search results. The search query can be very specific by using the advanced search parameters.
- A Non tamper-able encrypted logging system maintains the sequence of events occurring within the account, to monitor and cross reference every action performed in the account. This log file can only be viewed from within the account.
- InfoCryptor implements a customised window appearance that gives the interface a pleasant, user-friendly appearance. Large number of shortcut keys enable power users to increase productivity
- A Random Password Generator is integrated with InfoCryptor. The user can customize his or her account to have a random password generated on creating a new record. The generated password length, case, special characters, numeric mix and characters to be omitted are easily configurable.
- The password within a record can be directly copied to the clipboard using the "Copy Password to Clipboard" feature. This password can then be pasted into any other application. This provides an additional level of security to your passwords by hiding the password text from the eye at all times.
- Default settings for the document field can be set. Each new record created will apply these settings to the new document field.
- The records can be viewed in various modes, giving it a Windows Explorer like feel.
- The records can be sorted on the record name, created date or modified date.
- Visible data can be hidden quickly using the "Hide or Unhide Data" feature provided for temporary concealing of information.
- The default layout and the sort criteria for the records can be set as per the user.

- Copying and moving of record(s) from one folder to another is possible by Cut, Copy and Paste operations. These operations use an internal clipboard to avoid information residue in the Windows Clipboard. Copying or moving of record(s) is enhanced by simple drag-drop feature within the application.
- InfoCryptor supports two different viewing modes:
- Normal Layout: displays all records and folders to improve browsing through records.
- Detail Layout: A preferred mode for editing a particular record, as it avails the user of greater screen size for the document editor.
- The file extension (*.icf) 'InfoCryptor File' is associated with the application InfoCryptor. This implies that double clicking on a *.icf file will launch InfoCryptor and import the encrypted file into the user account. A *.icf file is secured by an additional password, allowing only valid users to import the file.
