Adding a Numerics Widget to the Notification Centre on Your Mac

This guide will help you add a Numerics widget to the Notification Centre on your Mac.

Add Numerics Widget to Notification Centre on Your Mac

  1. On your Mac, open Notification Centre by clicking the date and time in the menu bar, or swipe left with two fingers from the right edge of the trackpad.

  2. At the bottom of Notification Centre, click 'Edit Widgets'.

  3. In the list of widget categories, search for 'Numerics'. This will display the available Numerics widgets.

  4. Choose and add the widget size you prefer. Numerics supports all 3 widget sizes - small, medium and large.

  5. Click on the added Numerics widget to see the configuration options. Choose the dashboard and then the KPI you want to display in the Notification Centre.

  6. Here, you can also choose to show the logo of the integrated service to bring context to the widget in your Notification Centre.

Customize Numerics Widget in Notification Centre on Your Mac

  1. Open Notification Centre on your Mac.

  2. In your set of active widgets, locate the Numerics widget. You can do the following:

    • Change the dashboard or widget displayed: Click on the Numerics widget and select a different dashboard or widget.

    • Show or disable the logo of the integrated service for the widget.

    • Change the size of a widget: Control-click the Numerics widget, then choose a different size.

FAQ

Q. I have added a Numerics widget to my Notification Centre, but it shows an empty box.
A. If you don’t choose a dashboard and a KPI in the added Numerics widget, the default empty box is added to the Notification Centre. Please edit the Notification Centre widget and choose a dashboard and a KPI following the steps above.

Q. Can I add a widget from a shared Numerics dashboard to my Notification Centre?
A. Yes. Ensure the KPIs are displaying the data within the Numerics app, once you receive a shared dashboard. You can then follow the steps detailed above to add these widgets from the shared dashboard to your Notification Centre.
